Have we mentioned that Lake Como is now one of Europe’s premier destinations for celebrities wanting style, sophistication and glamour without glitz?

With Lake Como now being the home of international stars like George Clooney, with his regular visitors including David Beckham, Victoria Beckham, Elton John, and Tom cruise is it any wonder that one of the most used phrases typed into google for Lake Como is actually, George Clooney Lake Como House, and followed closely by Villa Lake Como James Bond, which is a bit of a mouthful, but clearly refers to the Villa Balbianello where many scenes for the last Bond movies were shot starring Daniel Craig.

In particular the people of Lake Como have taken George Clooney to their hearts and have made him an honorary son of the region!





Other recent Lake Como celebrity visitors include, Liam Gallagher from Oasis, The rock group Stereophonics, David Hasselhof, Sasha Baron Cohen,  and various politicians, sports people, and stars of music and film.
