The piazzas and streets have wonderful family run cafés and restaurants that are open most days from dawn till late, locals Meet on the way to work for a brioche and espresso, or after work for a relaxing glass of Prosecco. There is also a good selection of restaurants within walking distance including “Al Veluu” & “Risorgimento” which must be two of the finest eateries on the lake. “Helvetia”, “red & White”, and “El Timon” on also a short walk away for those lake side evening meals or a cocktail.
Tremezzo and Mezzegra are in the centre of the recently opened “greenways”; these give you clear routes (denoted by beautiful green granite slabs and steel markers) for some of the best walks around the lake.
