Apartamento Stefy sits in the pretty district of Curcio in the popular town of Colico to the north of the lake.
In little development of 8 apartments, apartamento Stefy is a bright, spacious, and well furnished apartment arranged over two floors with a lovely shared pool. The surrounding area is peaceful and very pretty, with amazing views across the rural sub alpine mountains including the stunning Monte Legnone which dominates the skyline in Colico.
After parking your car at the front of the Apartments, you go through a gate into the gardens and along a short path past the shared pool. There are then steps that lead to the apartment. Through the door you immediately enter the large, spacious, and light living space that is arranged as a living area with kitchen and dining areas. The owner is one of the regions largest furniture retailers and as such you can be sure the quality of the interior and kitchen is excellent.
The kitchen has dishwasher and stunning designer units, plus everything you will need to create those great dishes for your alfresco eating!
In the living space there are two sets of double doors that open out onto a large balcony terrace where you can sit and relax, or dine, overlooking the pool. The doors really make the outside and inside space work as one.
In the living room there is a very good quality sofa bed, and a single fold out bed, that when not in use folds into a unit that takes on the appearance of a chest of drawers. There is sat TV as well for evenings in.
On this floor there is also a good sized bathroom with shower.
Up the stairs you will find a double bedroom with wardrobe, and a twin room with wardrobes. There is also another good sized bathroom with shower.
Due to the open nature of the stairs caution should be taken with younger guests.
Outside and just a few steps away, there is a very nice shared swimming pool and sun terrace that is surrounded only by the other apartments in the residence, giving it a comfortable and safe feel. From the apartment on the large balcony you have a clear view of the pool and as such it is easy to supervise children.

Out and About
There is a pizzeria restaurant, and popular nitespot just 10 minutes away by foot, and a supermarket, a bank, cashpoint, garage, and other restaurants and bars approximately about 1.5 km away.
A short drive, bike ride, or a 25 minute walk approximately 2.2km will bring you to the centre of Colico, and a little further on the lovely beaches at the Bay Piona .
In Colico, Take some time to wander through the narrow streets, browse around the many shops or visit the restaurants, bars, cafes and typical Lombardy Trattorias.
The beautifully featured Piazza at the harbour extends an invitation to linger in one of the cafes or simply to gaze at the spectacular scenery. It has just been refurbished and is a very nice place to walk, sit, eat and drink... The pretty town of Colico is also a gateway for those travellers wishing to explore the lake and surrounding area. At the harbour, a public ferry service from the boats landing stage will take you to all the attractive towns and sights round the lake including Bellagio, Menaggio, Tremezzo and even down to Como itself.
The new marina in Colico has made it a centre on the lake for all things nautical and it is now home to some of the finest craft on the lake.
A regional train service runs directly from the small train station of Colico south to the fashion capital of Milan or north to Chiavenna/Sondrio. This spectacular mountain area is truly an inspiration for walking, hiking or biking, or of course, relaxing.
