Apartamento Vista Paradiso Panorama is cut into the face of the mountains overlooking the famous and very pretty lakeside town of Varenna. The chic and modern apartment enjoys one of the most awe-inspiring views that Lake Como has to offer. From your private garden terrace and from the shared pool you will enjoy some exceptional panoramic views across the lake and mountains to, Varenna, Bellagio, Tremezzo, and menaggio. In fact you can see four of the most famous villages from one spot. Truly unique.

Apartamento Vista Paradiso Panorama sits in an exclusive development of 3 houses arranged as luxury apartments. The apartment is upper ground floor with a private garden and terrace. The interior is both comfortable and modern and combines beautifully with the outdoor space and views to provide an inspirational base for your Lake Como holiday.

The property is approached from Varenna town along a winding mountain road that takes you above the lake. When at the apartment you can park your car in your own private space directly adjacent to the garden and terrace, which is gated. Once in the gardens you enter the apartment directly into the combined living space. The kitchen (with dish washer and all mod cons!) and dining area and lounge area are perfectly balanced with pale Italian tiles, white washed walls throughout, and modern furnishings.

The generous sofa cleverly converts to provide a good-sized double bed. There is a modern designer reading chair, Sat TV, and CD, plus a large ceiling mounted rotary fan for your comfort. The living space is lake facing with wide sliding café doors opening out into your private garden (equipped with out door furniture) and that amazing view.

From the living space you enter a hallway from which you access the modern, spacious bathroom (shower, Bidet, basin, WC and washing machine) and the bedroom.

The large bedroom double bed with a set of doors opening onto the garden and rear which is a shaded area and is ideal for letting cool air in during the hot weather . It has generous wardrobes, drawers, a dressing table, and mirror. Above the bed is a large rotary ceiling fan for your comfort.

The garden terrace is just the right size for the table and chair and loungers. The Garden is gated and therefore is secure and safe for young children, however outside of the private areas children must be supervised at all times as there are steep drops.

From the apartment and around to the rear of the apartment there are some steps up to the shared terrace and swimming pool. From the terrace you can relax, swim or take in the spectacular views. It sits at the foot of a craggy cliff and has amazing aspects to both the front and rear.

The pool is fenced and gated, but as with all pools children must be supervised.

At the time the photographs were taken for Panorama the pool was closed as it was low season. When the pool opens in June we will include a picture.

The pool is open from June to September.

Apartamento Vista Paradiso Panorama is just a year old so the finish and quality is like new.

During 2009 there are some construction works within 200 metres. Due to the nature of the work we do not expect significant inconvenience but this cannot be guaranteed.

Out and about

Varenna is undoubtedly one of the jewels of the lake. In the centre of town you will find cobbled lanes with lovely shops and restaurants in building perched tightly together on the lakeside. This is classic Lake Como, and will melt your heart.

There are some really enjoyable walks around and about with stunning views, however we recommend that a car is essential for this property. There are opportunities to walk into town to shop or to indulge in some of the fantastic restaurants, for example Vecchia Varenna, said to be one of the best on the lake. If you chose to walk into Varenna, its about 15 minutes on the way down and about 20 minutes on the way back as it is up hill.

From Varenna you can pick up the lake road or from the Marina you can take the ferry (and your car too!) to anywhere on the lake

A deposit of 25% is payable once we have confirmed your booking. This can be paid by Visa, Mastercard or Bank transfer. The balance is then payable one month before arrival, by Visa, Mastercard or Bank transfer. A modest charge is made by the owner for heating, it is metered and paid on departure. An average apartment will cost around 45 euro per week for heating in winter. A cash deposit to cover breakages will be collected/returned by the owner on arrival/departure. The amount will be confirmed in your arrival pack.
