Nestling in the hillside just above Menaggio the apartment may well be one of the areas most innovative pieces of Italian design. It integrates into the hillside with its use of grassed roves and rock entrances, framed with stainless steel railings and modern electric blinds to keep the midday sun at bay.
After a short drive from the village centre you reach the residence. After parking in the private parking area you will be stunned at the view. Panoramic views across Lake Como to Bellagio, Varenna and beyond. You have stunning mountain views behind and uninterrupted Lake Como to the front.
After going through a private gate and passing the dramatic entrance flanked with vast mountain rocks you will be inside. Up some stairs and along a walkway you reach the apartment.
Once inside you will be stunned. An open living area with three zones, cooking, eating and living. With a modern kitchen leading to the dining zone with table and chairs for four.
To your left there is a doorway leading to the generous bathroom with its modern designer interior of stainless steel and high gloss bathroom furnishings. It has a good sized shower, WC, Bidet and vanity unit, all softly lit.
Ahead you will see the large sliding glass sliding doors that lead to your private garden with those stunning panoramic lake views. During the day you can use the electric venetian blinds to keep out the sun.
In the living are you have gorgeous Italian furnishings all in a modern style. There is a large sofa that folds out into a queen size bed, and a tall entertainment unit that houses a plasma TV with Satellite. Either side of the entertainment unit are two floors to ceiling sliding glass panels, opaque, so not see thorough that separate the living area from the bedroom.
In the bedroom you will find a double bed with built in storage, a chest of drawers, and a comfortable sofa chair. Like the living space the bedroom has a large sliding glass door on to the garden with its own electric venetian blind.
In the garden there is a table and chairs and two sun loungers. The gardens are lawned with planted borders watered every night by an automated irrigation system.
From the garden you have yet another uninterrupted view of Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna and the lake.
Just below the garden, just a few stone steps away you have a large shared terrace with a big swimming pool. You can swim or lounge by the pool and take in the views of the lake once again.
Apparamento Parco Menaggio really is one of the most elegant and highest quality developments in the region. The quality, finish and design are truly outstanding and will ensure that you have a holiday to remember.
Due to its hillside location a car is recommended although not absolutely essential. Parco Vista Menaggio is suitable for children with supervision.

Out and about
Menaggio is one of the lakes most famous villages and is about 10 minutes walk down hill from the apartment. Once in Menaggio, from the Piazza Garibaldi and the surrounding streets you have everything you need from fresh bread to Prada shoes. The cafes and restaurants are in abundance and there are some gorgeous places to eat, one of which is the Osteria il Pozzo, which is owned by your host who will be very happy to look after you in the restaurant with discounts.
You have numerous bus routes and ferrys all within a short walk. Days out to the famous destinations of Bellagio, Tremezzo, and Varenna are all just a short ferry ride away, as are the gardens of Villa Carlotta. You are also just a short bus trip or drive from Lugano in Switzerland too.
To the back of Menaggio there is the old town with its castle remains cobbled lanes and numerous walks, and to the front you have a long promenade along the lake with palm trees and horticultural gardens fro lovely evening strolls before drink and dinner.
Just a short walk away too, is the Lido di Menaggio with two swimming pools, sandy beach, terraces, cafι and pizzeria. It has just been refurbished and is open to the public for a small entrance fee.
